Every year, the Esquimalt Farmers Market contracts an artist or designer to create original artwork for their annual market. I was fortunate to work collaboratively with the organization to develop a series of posters. When I started the process, I contemplated how to capture best the feeling of attending a farmer’s market. Fresh produce, artisanal creations, and a love for sustainability highlighted my memories of being at farmers' markets. These textile experiences inspired the final artwork and hopefully invoked the same feelings in the audience.
